With a career bridging science and finance, Louis Murayama has built a strong track record in deep-tech investments across sectors from semiconductors to climate tech and AI. Beyond investing, he has actively shaped startups from within, taking on interim-CFO and executive roles to drive growth.
Louis joined Antares Ventures in early 2024, shaping the fund strategy and coordinating its formation. Prior to that, he was Managing Director & CEO of the Singapore office of Real Tech Holdings, a Japan HQ deep tech fund with $200m AuM and 90+ portfolio companies. He oversaw a portfolio of 16 investments and more than $20m of allocated capital. As one of the most active early-stage deep-tech investors in the Southeast Asian region, Louis is deeply connected within the growing regional tech ecosystem.
Prior to venture capital, Louis was Director of Business Development at ACES, a leading AI startup in Japan, and a consultant at Boston Consulting Group, specializing in M&A and shareholder value creation.
Earlier in his career, he was a Marie-Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at Jagiellonian University. Louis holds a Diploma (M.Sc.) in Biology from the University of Freiburg, Germany.
