Li-Kai Chen is a distinguished leader and the former Senior Partner for McKinsey & Company. He was the Managing Partner for McKinsey in Malaysia, focusing on large-scale transformations, leadership development and national development.
Li-Kai brings with him 25 years of corporate and advisory experience working with leading organisations in Malaysia and worldwide across the private, public and social sectors. He works with Boards, senior leaders and executives to build successful, sustainable institutions in the face of industry or economic discontinuity. Li-Kai was also the Global Head of the Education Practice at McKinsey, advising Ministers of Education, government agencies, school systems, higher education institutions and providers across more than 30 countries globally on improving learning outcomes, student experiences, employment prospects and scale-up strategies.
Li-Kai earned his BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying from the University of Central England (UK), his MSc Risk Management from the University of Reading (UK), and his MBA from Harvard Business School (USA).
