Gianfranco Casati is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in driving growth and business transformation across APAC, MEA, and LATAM.
His strategic leadership at Accenture led to significant market expansion, innovative growth models, and the establishment of new business units, making him a valuable advisor to Antares Ventures.
Until recently, Gianfranco served as Chairman of Accenture Growth Markets, a position he held after being the Chief Executive Officer from 2014 to 2022. During his tenure leading Accenture’s Growth Markets, he was instrumental in doubling the size of the business and driving strategic initiatives across Asia Pacific, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East.
Before his role in Growth Markets, Gianfranco held several key positions at Accenture. He was the Group Chief Executive of the Products Operating Group, managing clients across various industries, including automotive, consumer goods, and life sciences. He also served as the managing director of the Products Operating Group’s Europe unit and as Accenture’s country managing director for Italy. Throughout his career, he demonstrated a strong commitment to inclusion, diversity, and people development, earning a reputation for his strategic vision and client-focused approach.
Gianfranco began his career at Accenture in 1984 after practicing as a certified public accountant. He became a partner in 1994 and played a crucial role in the company’s transition to a corporate structure and IPO in 2001.
Gianfranco holds a degree in economics from the University of Pavia in Italy, which laid the foundation for his extensive career in business and management.
